Who we are

Helena’s Community Cats of SOWEGA, Inc. was started in honor of my mom, Helena, who loved giving to organizations that helped all kinds of people and animals. While cats weren’t necessarily her passion, she would be happy about the impact this organization is making in our community.

Helena’s is a 501(c)(3) Corporation established in October 2025, and located in Albany, Georgia. We have successfully secured our approval of non-profit status from the IRS.
